Hi! I'm Brent.

 

East-Coaster by birth, West-Coaster by choice, I've spent over a decade in Film, Television & Advertising. I bring a deep curiosity for human behavior and a healthy dose of genuine empathy to UX Design, as well as the background that helps me align the business goals with the user's needs.

​I love untangling complex problems and crafting elegant solutions. Like all good dime novel detectives, I’m endlessly fascinated by solving puzzles, discovering clues, and understanding what motivates a person’s decisions, good or bad. Not only the whodunnit, but the whydunnit. 
 

My path into UX stems from a desire to bring the unique humanity of storytelling to technology, and to our shared technological experiences. More simply put, I’m all about efficient, inspired designs that bring people joy and make our technology-driven world a better place.

 

Outside of UX, I’m a comedy lover, hockey player, father of two, vinyl collector, guitarist, and lover of the incomparable sound of the Fender Rhodes Electric Piano.

I’m frequently found in my backyard, doing everything I can to transform it into a Mediterranean oasis. Results are still TBD.
